We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

The content of this App has been created with the greatest care. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the content, in particular the information on mushroom species, edibility and look-alikes. The AI identification and the species information do not replace a mushroom expert; never eat a mushroom based on an identification by the App. As a service provider we are responsible for our own content under general law pursuant to § 7(1) DDG. Pursuant to §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, we are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information (e.g. user content such as photos, finds and club names) or to investigate circumstances indicating unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected. Liability in this respect is only possible from the time of knowledge of a specific infringement. Upon becoming aware of such infringements, we will remove the content immediately. Please send notices to info@bitshifters.de.

The App contains links to external third-party websites (e.g. Wikipedia, GBIF, iNaturalist, Mushroom Observer, Open-Meteo, DGfM, poison control centres) over whose content we have no influence. We do not guarantee this third-party content; the respective provider is always responsible. No unlawful content was identifiable at the time of linking. Upon becoming aware of infringements, we will remove such links immediately.

The content and works created by us (design, texts, graphics, software, identification model) are subject to German copyright law. Reproduction, editing and distribution beyond the limits of copyright law require our written consent.

The mushroom catalogue uses freely licensed third-party data and images. You find the complete list in the App under Settings › Data sources; the most important sources:

• GBIF.org – species data (names, distribution, season), CC BY 4.0
• Wikidata – taxonomy, edibility, CC0 1.0
• Wikipedia – species portraits (text, abridged and reformatted), CC BY-SA 4.0, article link per species
• Wikimedia Commons, iNaturalist, Mushroom Observer, GBIF – photos; author, licence and source are shown with every image (image credit)
• Rote-Liste-Zentrum – threat categories (Dämmrich et al. 2016, Red List of Macrofungi of Germany)
• Bundesartenschutzverordnung – legal protection (official work)
• Open-Meteo.com – weather data, CC BY 4.0 (models include Deutscher Wetterdienst, ECMWF, MeteoSwiss)

User content (photos, finds, tours) remains the property of the respective users (see Terms of Service § 5).

Catalogue and comparison images carry the credit "author · licence · source" directly at the image. Icons, logo and design: created in-house (Bitshifters GmbH).
